Let me begin by telling you that there is really no point, no enlightened outcome or any great conclusions that will be drawn from reading this. The fact of the matter is I just saw something so strange that I have to share it with you.

On my way to work this morning I was driving up Brady about two blocks north of the river where the construction has the street down to one lane. In front of me was a SUV that randomly stopped in the middle of the street. I am a bit ashamed to admit it but I am not the most patient person when it comes to traffic. More than one driver on the business end of my horn honking has offered to help me insert it where the sun doesn't shine.

So I'll admit I may have honked at the driver after he sat there for what seemed like 10 minutes, when in reality it was more likely 30 to 40 seconds. The horn had no effect and I was growing more impatient by the minute. THEN... and this is the strange part. Out of the passenger side window I saw the person throw money out the window. Right out the window and on to the sidewalk. What the heck was that about. I could see pretty easily that it was three one dollar bills. Can't figure out why someone would do that.

Everyone has asked me if I got out and picked it up. Nope. Too cold. If it had been three five's dang straight I would have gotten out. I just guess my warmth and comfort is worth more that three dollars. But seriously the entire episode has left me scratching my head. Any idea why someone would choose to "litter" the street with their hard earned money. Hopefully he will drive through my neighborhood sometime soon. #strangebuttrue
