1 - Thunderstorms with the capability of producing large hail and possibly tornados are in the forecast for a window between 3pm and 9pm today. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen has the forecast details here.

2 - Fireworks of another kind will more common in the skies over Iowa this summer. Governor Branstad signed a bill into law legalizing the sale, possession and use of consumer-grade fireworks. Local levels of government will still have the option of limiting fireworks use. Read why I am not a fan of the law here.
