Craig's List: 4 Things to Know

It going to be a hot one, but it won't last long.

1 - Isolated showers this morning will give way to sunny skies that, with the humidity level, will send temps into the mid 90's with a heat index near 100º. 2 - The first Bix @ 6 training session for the BIX 7 takes place tonight. Four training runs will help folks prepare for the big race on July 29. Bix @ 6 begins and ends at the Quad City Times building on 4th Street in Davenport. Details, scores and more when we do That Sports Thing at around 7:40am on The Morning KIIK Start.

3 - It's Food Truck Thursday at Faye's Field located south of the Bettendorf Public Library. Food trucks will be serving from 5-8pm. Bring your yard chairs and a beverage and enjoy the Bettendorf Public Library's Summer Concert beginning at 6:30pm. More entertainment news when we do That Hollywood Thing at about 8:40am on FM 104-9.
