Another weather winner for the last day of July.

1 - More sunshine and dry skies with pleasant temps for today, tomorrow and most of Wednesday. Here's a link to the National Weather Service forecast.

2 - The Quad City Times reports that a Muscatine man is in custody and charged with attempted murder after a shooting and standoff last evening. Police say a victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, and chemical irritants were introduced to the residence to fluch out the alleged assailant.

3 - Another successful Bix 7 race is in the books. The conditions were pretty perfect, and I was duly impressed with the determination and spirit of the participants. What a great event for the Quad Cities. Scores and more when we do That Sports Thing at around 7:40am.

4 - Quad City Music Guild opens a new production on Thursday. Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Sunset Boulevard' in the final production of Music Guild's summer trio of shows. More entertainment news at about 8:40am when we do That Hollywood Thing.

Enjoy the last day of July, and have a great Monday.

- Craig
