It's Wednesday already. Another bonus after a holiday weekend.

1 - It's a chilly morning. We'll cloud over later today and maybe even see a sprinkle or light shower. Meanwhile, Hurricane Irma continues to bear down on Puerto Rico. Forecast details are here.

2 - The Government Bridge remains closed to vehicular and rail traffic after a hydraulic cylinder broke over the weekend. No word on when repairs will be complete and the span will reopen.

3 - The River Bandits play the first game of their Western Division playoff series tonight in Peoria. Catch the play-by-play on our sister station KBOB 1170 at 6:30pm. Scores and more when we do That Sports Thing at about 7:40am.

4 - The Celtic Festival and Highland Games of the Quad Cities is coming up on September 15th. We'll talk about that and more entertainment news when we do That Entertainment Thing at around 8:40am.

Have a great Wednesday.

- Craig
