Davenport Library Holding Peeps Diorama Contest

The Davenport Public Library is celebrating spring by holding their first ever Peep Diorama Contest. The library is asking participants to create a shoe box sized diorama based on a book they've read. Entries are being accepted through March 31st at the Eastern Avenue Branch. A winner will be chosen by library staff on April 2nd and the winner will receive a prize.

Here's some more details: Entries must be based on a book and include one or more Peeps. Entries must be family friendly. One entry per person or group. There also doesn't seem to be a specific age limit for the project, so this could be something fun for the entire family. If I were going to do a Peep diorama for the contest, I'd choose the fence whitewashing scene from Tom Sawyer. It's the perfect scene from the most perfect book from my childhood. Complete entry information for the Peep Diorama Contest can be found here.
