Fill A Purse And Help A QC Woman In Need

Often times if a woman leaves an abusive relationship she often leaves with nothing. A local church is hosting an event with a goal to meet the basic needs of women, starting with something many women already have in their closets.

According to an OurQuadCities.com story, Purses with a Purpose is an organization hosting a "Love Like Lorraine Christmas Party" to collect donations for women in need Sat., Dec. 16, 3 - 4:30 at The CITY Church in downtown Davenport.

The organization fills purses with  deodorant, soap, shampoo, makeup, and other daily necessities and given to local shelters. You can fill purses and donate to your favorite charity or give to One Eighty at 601 Marquette Street in Davenport.
