    According to WebMD kissing "quells anxiety, and it heightens the experience of being present in the moment." Simply, kissing produces a lot of the same psychological changes that meditation does.

    Glamour points out that this is kind of obvious, but kissing releases testosterone which is the hormone responsible for sex drive in both men and women. So prolonged kissing can lead to more sex.
