Hootie and the Blowfish Playing Monticello This July

Hootie and the Blowfish announced a reunion tour and a new album on the Today Show this morning (Dec. 3). One of the announced dates is a show at the Great Jones County Fair in Monticello, Iowa on Friday July 19.

Tickets for the Monticello show are $73 for standing room tickets on the track and $63 for amphitheater and bleacher seats. Tickets will go on sale Friday December 7 at 10AM CT. You can purchase tickets and find out more about the Great Jones County Fair here.

Fans will also get to see another popular band from the era, Barenaked Ladies, as they will be Hootie's special guest on the tour. If you're a mid to late 90's pop rock fan, this is going to be a show you won't want to miss.

If the Monticello date doesn't work for you, there are two other area shows. They're playing the Iowa State Fair on Sunday August 18 and Hollywood Casino Amphitheater on Saturday August 24.
