The Iowa State Patrol caught the driver of this Ferrari doing 137 MPH near Mason City. In the understatement of the year the Iowa State Patrol pointed out that the driver was driving too fast for conditions because of the rain.

Fox News pounced on the story, pointing out that the woman's excuse for speeding was rather lame. Apparently the woman told the officer she thought she was only going 100 mph. Seriously? "I only thought I was going 100 mph" is a pretty lame excuse. If I'm driving a Ferrari doing 137 MPH and get pulled over I'd like to think I'd have something clever to say. Or absolutely nothing to say. Doesn't driving a Ferrari pretty much say it all?
