Learn About ‘Iowa’s Bizarre Past’ at the Eldridge Library

Did you know The Rock 'N' Roll Mansion, where KIIK 104.9 broadcasts from, is haunted? Before it was home to rock 'n' roll it was an old funeral home, and there are some old ghosts hanging around. Anyone whose worked here over the years has their stories to share. Yet, an old funeral home being haunted, that's not even that bizarre. Author, researcher and lecturer on the strange and unusual Chad Lewis, he's bringing the bizarre to the Eldridge Library.

He'll be sharing a free presentation on "Iowa's Bizarre Past" at 6:30 on Monday April 16th at the Eldridge Library, 200 N. 6th Street, Eldridge. According to the Quad City Times Lewis will be discussing "strange deaths, ghosts, sea serpents, peculiar people, medical anomalies, oddities, psychic phenomena and UFOs." Lewis has spent the last 20 years of his life traveling the globe in search of unique and bizarre stories and history.
