Major Chain Store Coming to SouthPark Mall

Moline's SouthPark Mall has been undergoing a revamp over the last few years, and they're about to add another big retailer to the mix.

The QC Times reports that Ashley Homestore will be opening near the Dillard's clearance center at SouthPark. The new store is set to occupy 31,000 square feet of the mall, taking the space of several vacant businesses.

Ashley already has a store on Elmore in Davenport, but the new location will provide convenience for residents on the Illinois side of the river. Ashley will add to the ever-growing list of businesses that the mall has attracted recently, including Dick's and the new Olive Garden, which is located just outside of SouthPark.

No opening date has been announced yet for Ashley Homestore's opening.
