Olive Garden to Break Ground Soon In Moline

We told you a little earlier this month that Olive Garden would be one of three new restaurants opening along the John Deere Road corridor in Moline.

Now, an Olive Garden spokesperson is telling the Rock Island Argus that the company could break ground on the store within the next month or two.

The new location will be along 16th Street on the South Park Mall property.

No details have been released on when the new Panda Express will take over the old Ryan's Buffett across from Regal Cinemas, nor when Popeye's Chicken will be built on that same corner.

And if you didn't hear the news yesterday, Dunkin' Donuts is opening a new location on 18th Avenue, beside the CVS pharmacy in Rock Island this autumn.
