Portillo’s is coming to Davenport! For Real This Time!!!!

Sitting on my couch and checking facebook this afternoon when I see a picture posted on the City of Davenport's FB page. It's of a striped cup. A cup I've seen many times.

It's long been rumored that Portillo's was coming to the QCA, but where and when was anyone's guess. We've all been waiting with little to no response on the subject, and then this picture comes along. So I called Portillo's public relations and she tells me that she can't publicly comment on the Portillo's rumor about Davenport, but she was certainly aware and that more info would be coming soon. If anything, I'm hopeful that this will finally be happening.

If anyone needs me, I'm going to be out buying bigger pants.
