Now that Halloween is over, you've probably started the process of sorting through your children's candy haul. Sadly, there's another thing parents have to worry about this year while checking the treats- drugs disguised as candy.

A police department in Georgia made an ominous Facebook post warning parents after they seized methamphetamine pills resembling popular children's candy.

Obviously, if a child were to consume these pills, there would be dire consequences.

I'm not about fear mongering, but when a police department is the one putting the warning out, I'm going to take the threat seriously. The Facebook post even links to news stories where children have accidentally ingested pills and situations where similar drugs were passed out to trick-or-treaters. Scary stuff.

Georgia isn't super close to the QC, but we all know this could happen anywhere. Be alert and make sure to toss anything that looks suspicious.
