Quad City Mallards Will be Featured in Next NHL Video Game

Ever wanted to be one of our Mallards, but have no hockey skills?  Well, now you can.

The ECHL, the league in which the Flock play, announced yesterday that all 27 of their teams will be playable in the next installment of the NHL video game franchise.

The Mallards announced the news via a press release on their website.

The game, NHL 17, will also feature every ECHL's home, road and third jerseys.  The best part, though? Every roster will be updated, so you can actually play as your favorite Mallards player.

While a release date has yet to be announced for NHL 17, many indications are that it will be available on PS4 and Xbox One in September.
