Scariest Movie of the 2000’s So Far? And go…

I've never been a big fan of horror movies. It's not that I can't watch them, they just aren't my thing.  That being said, I can certainly tell you the top 3 films that scared the crap out of me, hands down: Poltergeist (1982); The Amityville Horror (1979); and The Exorcist (1973). Poltergeist was a great, creepy thriller. The Amityville Horror I saw at the drive-in as a teenager, which made it that much more creepy when Jody the Pig floated in the attic window. The Exorcist's shocking images had me up nights for weeks after seeing it.

All three films are too old to have made a recent Rolling Stone list of the 50 Greatest Horror Movies of the 21st Century (can you do this only 15 years into a century?), but maybe one of your faves made the list.
