Fun runs or walks are a great way to spend time with the family outdoors but this race course takes you through the Niabi Zoo. The Second Annual Family Pride 2.5K at the zoo starts at 9 am, September, 22. The Center for Youth and Family Services is partnering with the zoo for the Family Pride 2.5K run/walk with registration and check in beginning at 8:30 am.

Gather your friends, kids, strollers and walk or run through the zoo. Children will love the kids activity center and seeing all the animals. Here's how you can sign up and get registered.

All funds raised by this event will stay at the CYFS Rock Island office in order to meet the needs of at risk youth and families in Rock Island, Henry & Mercer Counties. These funds are used for families involved in our Foster Care, Intact Family Services, Youth, Family and Community Outreach Services and Counseling programs and make it possible for the agency to provide a wide variety of things to families like clothing, smoke detectors, beds, air conditioners, emergency medication, school supplies, as well as pay for activity or event fees for youth.

Registration includes admission to the zoo. and is good for the full day of the event. Food and drinks can be purchased from the Niabi Zoo concession stands. See you at the zoo!
