This Popular Flavor Just Returned To Whitey’s And Everyone Is Freaking Out

Autumn brings a lot of seasonal flavors back into our lives, like pumpkin spice lattes, apple cider donuts, and most excitingly for a lot of people, Pumpkin Ice Cream at Whitey's.

If you click on the photo, you can see from their Facebook post announcing the flavor's return, people are kind of going crazy over this news. Whitey's did start posting a countdown five days before, so I'm guessing the anticipation was building for a while.

Despite all of the excitement over it, I'm about to state an unpopular opinion: pumpkin ice cream sounds gross to me. Now I love Whitey's a lot, and I generally love pumpkin flavored foods a lot, but I don't know how much I would enjoy the combo of these two things. I will choose to have an open mind, however, especially considering how much other people seem to love it. Maybe a pumpkin/hot fudge sundae would be good?

The seasonal treat is available in many forms, including shakes and malts, Harvest Chippers, and frozen yogurt. Whitey's recommends blending the flavor with Graham Central Station when you order a shake for a pumpkin pie taste. Now that I might be able to get behind.
