Top 5 Places to Get Donuts in the Quad Cities

Right up on the list of comfort food at my house are donuts. Hey, I'm Canadian.

On this National Donut Day, Dunkin Donuts is giving away a free donut with the purchase of any beverage.

Here are the Top 5 Places to Get Donuts in the Quad Cities:

5 - South Park Bakery in Rock Island gets kudos from Yelp reviewers saying "if you need baked goods for work or a wedding or something, this is your place.

4 - Donut Delite is located on Avenue of the Cities in Moline. Yelp reviewers say their "Glazed sourdough old fashioned are spot-on."

3 - Donuts & More has two Quad Cities locations - in Moline and Davenport. According to Yelp reviews, their Cherry Iced donut is a favorite.

2 - Old Towne Bakery in Moline is renowned for it's cookies, but they placed in the Top 3 of a WQAD poll of the best places to get a donut in the QCA.

1 - Tommy's Cafe at 916 W 3rd St in Davenport also placed highly on the WQAD Donut Poll, but the fact that they'll an ask you if you want their Apple Fritter warmed with butter puts them at #1 in my book.
