What Will Happen to Gander Mountain in Davenport?

Gander Mountain is closing 126 stores. Will Davenport be one of them?

So far, several businesses in the Quad Cities have announced they are going through bankruptcy or closing. For awhile there, it seemed there were several within a two week period. Gander Mountain is no exception, having announced their bankruptcy but whether or not their store in Davenport will closer for good, is still uncertain, leaving employees in a rough spot.

In fact, the number of stores that will remain open is unclear, according to conflicting statements on Twitter and a statement issued.

According to WQAD.com,

"On Monday, May 8, Lemonis shared an updated list of stores that will definitely stay open, and the Davenport location was not on the list.

However, that list contains only 51 store locations and Lemonis has said at least 70 will remain open."
