In the early 1970's, daredevil Evel Knievel was thrilling TV audiences by jumping his Harley-Davidson motorcycle over just about anything that wasn't nailed down. Saturday appearances on ABC's Wide World of Sports by Knievel became national events.

I would sit with my eyes glued to the TV, butterflies in my stomach, wondering if the daredevil would make his next jump safely. Often times, Knievel crashed, but always in spectacular fashion. The man knew how to fail with style.

Regardless of whether our hero succeeded or failed, I would go outside and try to mimic his jumps on my bicycle.

Now you can own Knievel's 1972-73 leather jumpsuit, or his diamond-encrusted walking stick, that also doubled as a flask (maybe thats why he crashed?)
