Let's face it, driving on I-80 in any sort of precipitation sucks.

Drivers in nearly three dozen cars learned that first-hand Sunday afternoon, as 30 cars were involved in a westbound accident near the West Branch exit.

The crash came during a system that brought 3-6 inches of snow to the QCA.

The Eastern Iowa portion of I-80 has become infamous for being an ice rink when there's anything more than a drizzle of snow or freezing rain, due to exhaust from all the semi-trucks freezing on the pavement.

Here's a tip to keep you safe if traveling on the interstate during the winter, SLOW DOWN!
