A Former KSTT DJ Has Died

Every place in North America has a radio station that defined their community. It was the one station everyone tuned in to stay connected. In the Quad Cities during the 50's, 60's and 70's it was KSTT-AM 1170 - "someplace special."

KSTT was where the Quad Cities favorite radio son Spike O'Dell built his brand before moving on to the first iteration of KIIK, and then WGN in Chicago.

Another voice that called KSTT home in the early 1970's was Roger Mundy, best known for his catchphrase "this is Roger Mundy on a Tuesday until Wednesday."

Roger was really Terry Frazier from Wichita, Kansas. He made the Quad Cities and KSTT home for a spell before returning to his hometown to continue his career.

Terry passed away on June 28 at age 70... a Wednesday.
