Quad Cities residents have been looking forward to this display for weeks, but sadly, they'll never get a chance to see the Santa's Rock n' Lights.

The Christmas lights display, which was set to open this Thursday in Centennial Park, has been canceled, according to KWQC.

The reason behind the cancelation? The event had issues from the start, ranging from inconsistent pricing listed on the event's Facebook page. Although ticket pricing was originally listed as $15 per car, that was later updated with a $5 fee for each additional person if there were over 6 people in the vehicle. The pricing was also stated to "range from night to night," which did not go over well with QC residents.

The president of the events company in charge of the lights display also added that setup time had taken way too long in Chicago, therefore they weren't able to put on a "quality show" in Davenport.

QC residents who had pre-purchased tickets are being refunded, but the process may take up to ten days.
