Amazing Coincidences

In life, there are times when even the most creative writers couldn't do the stories of our life justice, especially when it concerns coincidences.  Being at the right place at the right time or meeting someone you know you were meant to meet, etc... only scratches the surface of how truly amazing and nearly unbelievable these stories are!

This story is one of the most amazing ones I have ever seen:

Some say they don't believe in coincidences and I would have to agree.  There is an almost magical aspect to life in how it plays out sometimes, as if we are playing a part in someone else's script. I think these stories are fascinating and we should tell them often. Like my story, for instance.

I made a comment one day on my Facebook friend, Will's page.  Will and I used to work in radio together in a different town. A friend of Will's, Ben, saw my comment, messaged me and asked if I used to work in _____ town where he was from. Amazed he remembered me, I said, "Yes! I used to work with Will in that town but it wasn't for a very long time." Ben went on to tell me he was the guy who ordered a particular drink and I served him at a bar. For the life of me, I couldn't remember the drink and I was only a guest bartender once during that time with that particular radio station. It was when he said it was last October that I knew something was definitely "off", as Ben lived in Wisconsin.

I thought about and remembered that I auditioned for a radio gig in a town near his in Wisconsin when I was 19 years old. My Dad went with me and while I was in the interview, he went to the gas station and grabbed a local real estate magazine. When I came out, my Dad was freaking out over a pic of a real estate agent who not only looked almost exactly like me at the time, but had the exact same name! We laughed about it and didn't ever really talk about it again.

I asked Ben if he could contact the girl and find out if she had ever been in real estate in the same town. Sure enough, he did and yes, this was the same girl! We couldn't believe that and knew other people might not either!
