Update at 10:30 a.m. on 7/15/2020: The Amber Alert for Breasia Terrell is still active. According to KWQC, the Davenport Police Department and city officials said,

"...an administrative error by the State of Iowa appeared to cancel the Amber Alert for Breasia Terrell. The Amber Alert for Breasia Terrell has NOT expired and the Davenport Police Department is working diligently with the State of Iowa to correct the error and is actively investigating this case.”

Update at 10:12 a.m. on 7/15/2020: The Amber Alert issued last night for missing Davenport 10 year old Breasia Terrell has been canceled. This is confirmed by the National Center For Missing & Exploited Children Twitter account.

The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children said in their tweet that more information will be given when it is available.


Posted 7/15/2020 at 7:00 a.m.: There have been new developments in the case of missing Davenport 10 year old, Breasia Terrell. In the middle of the night, an AMBER Alert was issued which is able to reach more people. Breasia is also listed on the National Center For Missing & Exploited Children website, along with the phone number for the Davenport Police Department in case anyone has any information.

Davenport Police do ask if you have any information on the whereabouts of Breasia to simply call 9-1-1.

Also developing in this case is that there is a person of interest in this case. Henry E. Dinkins is the person of interest and is related to the missing persons case of Breasia Terrell. Dinkins, who also has ties to the Camanche and Clinton area, is currently in custody on other charges related to a sex offender registry violation, according to the Davenport Police Departments Facebook page. 

The Davenport Police Department has released photos of Henry Dinkins, another photo of Breasia Terrell, and photos of the vehicles associated with Dinkins. The Davenport Police Department asks that if you have any information or seen these vehicles between the hours of 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 9th to 12 p.m. on Friday, July 10th to contact the Davenport Police Department or 9-1-1.

Find Breasia Terrell

The Davenport Police Department does appreciate the help of volunteers wanting to help find Breasia. The Davenport Police Department say that if you wish to help, search parties should self-organize. People should remain in groups of 3 or more and someone should be designated to to call 9-1-1 within the group.

Breasia was last seen wearing a long over sized white t-shirt, shorts and flip flops. She was also last seen on the 2700 block of 53rd Street in Davenport. Again, the Davenport Police Department asks if you have any information on the whereabouts of Breasia Terrell, call 9-1-1 immediately.
