Are Your Kids Already Bored?

Summer vacation is here, I know this from the sounds of kids in the neighborhood already complaining "there's nothing to do!" And I instantly have sympathy for parents everywhere.

This morning I had the opportunity to talk to Kevin Kellums from Kids 4 Kids Worldwide about their fun-filled event going on tomorrow at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport.

Starting at 10 a.m., the Kids 4 Kids event includes Slides and Bounce Houses, Puppet Show, Craft Zone, Carnival, Sparkle Me Fun Run, and a Talent Show.

I was intrigued by the "Pack a Backpack" area, where kids fill backpacks with supplies for underprivileged youths. And that's just one of the many charitable aspects of this terrific fundraiser.
