Today 104.9 Hawk is sending you Back to The Future with a throwback to the late 80’s!

We’re doing everything we can to help the Chicago Cubs pull out a win tonight in their quest to make it to the 2015 World Series! They need a win tonight against the New York Mets in Game 4 of the NLCS. Reminder: you can hear the game on our sister station, ESPN 93.5 tonight at 6 p.m.!

It’s HAWK to the FUTURE on 104.9 with me and Jay Rush. All day long we’re featuring classic country songs from Garth, Martina, George and lots of others all day today! It certainly gives you an idea of what country was like in 1989! Some things haven’t changed, our love of our nation, and the troops that support us. Our love for each other, as expressed in famous titles like “This Kiss” and “Check Yes or No”  So while the stars have brought us Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean (and younger bucks who weren’t even ALIVE yet in 1989…) we pay tribute to the big stars of country with a little airplay and a lot of memories today!
