Best BBQ in the Quad Cities

Usually when you think barbecue, you think of Memphis or Kansas City.  However, there are some places right here in the QC that do BBQ pretty darn well.

So which places have the best BBQ in the QC? According to Google reviews and ratings, here are the top five.

1. Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Moline (4.3/5)

Reviewers rave about the pulled pork and potato casserole at Dickey's.  Also, with several sauces to choose from, you're guaranteed to get the taste you want no matter what you get.

2. Bandanas BBQ - Davenport (4.1/5)

While Bandanas is exclusive to the Midwest, their calling card is authentic southern-style BBQ.  The combination of great service and great food gained them high-ratings.

3. Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que - Davenport (4.0/5)

Yes, Famous Dave's is a chain.  But their wood-smoked BBQ is definitely a favorite among Quad Citians.  Favorites among reviewers are the ribs and sweet corn bread muffins.

4. Jim's Rib Haven - Rock Island (3.7/5)

Whether it's pork or beef BBQ dishes, people across the QC love Jim's Ribs.  Reviewers also rave about the meaty ribs.

5. Bare Bones BBQ - Moline (3.5/5)

The portions are big and the food is excellent at Bare Bones, according to reviewers.  Evidently the prices are reasonable as well.
