It's only a 2 hour drive from the Quad Cities and this year, it's totally worth it!

I have a strong fondness of Billy Currington, but not for the most obvious reasons (ya, he's pretty cute, I know).

Just a little over a year ago, after a very long hiatus, I made my return to country music. Needless to say, I wasn't as familiar with some of the artists who were 'new' to me. Cue Billy Currington.

Whenever I heard a song from an artist I didn't recognize immediately, I thought it was Billy Currington. When the guys at work would quiz me, the default answer, Billy Currington. Haha.  I have a 'Billy-Currington-fondness' now, based on the story alone, but to my liking as well, he is very talented and I have grown to love his voice. Love didn't come softly for this artist. Nope, it was sheer default. And I don't mind. He's great!

Billy Currington joins Lee Brice and Kid Rock for Country on the River, August 4th - 6th in Prairie Du Chein, Wisconsin with The Hawk! It's only a hop, skip and jump from the QC and well worth it for the 3 day music fest.
