I could not believe how little it cost this guy to build such a beautiful, little home. In many ways, this home is completely ideal. It's simple, relaxing and has little nooks and crannies all carved out for reading, playing music or great conversation. The best is that with a little help, some earth-friendly raw materials and dedication, homes like this could be the wave of the future!

I had to ask myself why a house like this is so much more appealing to me now than the big, traditional houses I once longed for when I was younger. I came up with a the answer and it's simple.  Yep, the actual answer is: simple. simplicity. It's what I know I crave and many of my friends do too. To get back to the basics in life, the bare bones of what we NEED verses what we think we WANT.

Life is interesting that way.
