It's always hard to adjust when companies shift the way they do things.

But in the digital age, businesses often have to make big changes in order to keep up.

WHOTV in Ankeny reports that Iowa fave Casey's General Store will soon end their popular pizza box top coupons, and instead switch to app-only coupons.

With the new system, customers will collect digital points every time they buy a pizza.

Since you probably have hoarded plenty of paper coupons throughout the year, don't despair. You can take them into Casey's between now and January 1st and they'll be transferred into digital points. Additionally, you can still use the paper coupons through March of 2020.

The new coupon setup will no doubt cause a bit of controversy among those that don't use a smartphone (aka probably your grandparents). The world is certainly moving in an all-digital direction, however, so it seems like Casey’s is just trying to keep up with the times.
