Counting Down to Jason Aldean!

I can't believe it's 'Jason Aldean' week on The Hawk!   We are doing a Countdown to Showtime and that means,  you win!

I admit it.  I've never seen Jason Aldrean in concert before. He pretty much represents 'bro country' to me and while I'm still trying to figure out what 'sis country' is exactly (ya, I made that term up), I know, without a doubt, pyrotechnics and all, Jason's show is going to be fantastic!

I am so proud that he chose the Quad Cities to kick off his 'We Were Here' tour! Even more interesting for me, is meeting Thomas Rhett for a second time in one year! And this time, I have a follow up to the last conversation I had with him. Meeting Thomas is particularly cool for me. When I was in country morning radio, during the way-back-when-days, his Dad Rhett Akins was in Thomas' shoes. When I interviewed his Dad, Thomas was about 10 years old, on his way to school! LOL  A Thousand Horses will be there too and I can't wait to see them perform.
