1 - This whole abduction case from last week just gets more and more creepy. It's been revealed now that the alleged kidnapper of an Erie couple had a concrete-bunker-like secret safe room in his house in Geneseo. It's believed he intended to hide the victims there. WQAD News 8 spoke to a sub-contractor who worked on the home.

2 - The Rock Island High School Girl's Basketball team punched their ticket to the Illinois Region 4A Finals with a win over Pekin last night.
