Monday's don't seem so tough when the weather is nice.

1 - Mild thundershowers are moving out of our area this morning. We'll see clouds and sporadic showers today, and a cold front will bring cooler drier temps for tonight and Tuesday. WQAD Meteorologist Taylor Graham has forecast details here.

2 - The Chicago Cubs will hoist their World Series championship pennant (still hard to fathom) at Wrigley Field tonight. Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates. You can listen to the call on our sister station ESPN 93.5 on the radio, or online. First pitch is at 7:05pm. Details and more scores on That Sports Thing at about 7:35am on The Morning KIIK Start.

3 - Every morning this week, I'll be giving away tickets to the I Love The 90's show happening this Saturday at the iWireless Center. More entertainment news on That Hollywood Thing at around 8:35am on FM 104-9.

4 - No employees were on-site when a fire broke out at the Long John Silver's/A&W location on north Brady Street early Sunday morning, but the Quad City Times reports that the building sustained significant damage and is closed until further notice.

Have a great Monday.

- Craig
