It's a frosty morning, but we'll see the sun today.

1 - Widespread frost will give way to sunny skies for a good chunk of today. Areas to the southeast could see more clouds and a maybe even a shower. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen has the forecast details here.

2 - Make sure you're tuned in at 7:05-ish for the Elton John Song of the Day. Once you hear it, remember it, and be ready to call-in when Jeff Lynn asks for the name of the song at 4:10pm on The Work Release Program. If you're the correct caller, with the correct answer, you'll win a pair of tickets to see Elton John LIVE at the iWireless Center on November 10. We're giving away a pair every morning this week, before you can buy them on Friday, on FM 104-9.

3 - A Bettendorf grad has signed a free-agent tryout deal with the NFL's San Francisco 49ers. Bettendorf’s JP Flynn, a Montana State All-American Offensive Lineman will be at the 49ers camp trying to earn a roster spot. Learn more at our sister station ESPN 93.5 FM. Scores and more when we do That Sports Thing at around 7:40am on The Morning KIIK Start.

4 - Once a week I have lunch with Jeff Lynn from the Work Release Program afternoons from 3-7pm on the new KIIK 104-9. Jeff fancies himself a restaurant reviewer, and has written up his thoughts on our latest trip, to the J-Bar in Davenport, on his 'Fork It Over' blog.

Enjoy the sunshine, and have a great hump day Wednesday.

- Craig
