Craig's List: 4 Things to Know

It's the Summer Solstice, the day with the longest amount of daylight hours all year long.

1 - We'll see quite a bit of sun on this official beginning of Summer. There is a slim chance of a pop-up thunderstorm this afternoon. Hopefully, minus the gusto of yesterday afternoon's storm. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen's detailed forecast can be found here.

2 - Former Doobie Brother Michael McDonald takes the stage tonight at the iWireless Center. Meanwhile, I have more tickets to giveaway to see The Beach Boys at the Adler Theatre on July 13th. 3 - Modern Woodmen Park fell a few votes short to Four Winds Park in South Bend, Indiana in BallParkDigest.com's Best Ballpark in America online poll. We all know that Modern Woodmen is still the best ballpark in the nation though, right? The River Bandits are off today. The Midwest League All-Star Game is tonight at 7:05pm in Midland, Michigan.
