Counting down the hours until the holiday weekend.

1 - More severe weather is expected in the Quad Cities about the time you drive home from work today. With the NWS broadcast signal still out of service, it will be important to tune into to WQAD to remain weather aware today. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen has your forecast details here.

3 - In October, Quad Cities Vintage Football will stage their 3rd annual classic football game. The Rock Island Independents will face the Moline Universal Tractors in a game of football played in 1920's gear following the rules of the era. 4 - The Genesius Guild has begun its 61st season, offering its free classic theater series through August 6 in Lincoln Park in Rock Island.
