1 - Another great day on tap with sunny skies and temps in the upper 70's, but get that air conditioner in tip-top shape because a heat wave is on the way for the weekend and next week. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen has the forecast details here.

3 - The Cubs won their fifth straight game last night on the strength of big bats from Rizzo and Heyward. The Cubbies host the Marlins again tonight at Wrigley Field.
