The restaurant at 2439 53rd Ave, Bettendorf made the announcement via social media.

They say the restaurant had been struggling since the pandemic hit. In the post it says the business went through its reserves and some personal money as well.

The restaurant chain has locations in Dubuque, Coralville, Rockford and generally near larger colleges and universities.

Pita Pit is known for their fresh ingredients and made to order pitas.
