Drinking Wine for a Cause in the East Village is a Win-Win

Weekends and wine go together, and this weekend perhaps even more so.

The Village of East Davenport is holding a Wine Walk this Saturday, August 19th from 3 to 6pm.

For just $20, you can sample a variety of wines at locations throughout the village. Best of all, proceeds are being donated to Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities.

Here's the lowdown on the event from the Village of East Davenport website... "Start at one of the Gilda's Club tents to make your donation, receive a commemorative wine glass, and get a wristband.

"Visit participating businesses throughout the Village to enjoy a 1 oz. sample of wine. Local, domestic and imported wines will be offered as well as samples from the local home brew community. Multiple bands will be located throughout the area and the Quad-City Trolley will be running to help you get from place to place."
