Driver Charged With DUI After Losing Dog Out Window

A woman, who's dog fell out of her car window while she attempted a U-turn Saturday morning, has been charged with Driving Under the Influence of alcohol.

Orem City, Utah Police said the woman had a Blood Alcohol Level three times the legal limit.

Witnesses say she was driving erratically before pulling a U-turn that caused her dog to fly out of the passenger's side window.  Bystanders were able to get the dog to safety before the cops arrived.

Police say the woman is expected to get her dog back soon.
