Wha, wha, whaaaaaaaaaa...

That's what went through my mind as the final buzzer went off last night as Duke defeated Wisconsin in the NCAA Championship game 69-63.

Myself, along with a couple of my friends, went to a bar to watch the final basketball game of the 2014-2015 season. The only downfall about that is, it's an area to socialize. And, while normally, I'm all about the socialization, last night I was there for my team.

While I was actively watching the game, I did miss my fair share of moments. I remember it was suddenly down to the final ten minutes in the second half and Duke was already in the bonus, while Wisconsin was nowhere near. To me, this seemed fishy..

Apparently, it seemed fishy to a lot of other as well. At the end of the game while I was scrolling through my news feed, I saw comment after comment of how horrible the referees did throughout the game. One call, in particular, that came into question was one of the ball possessions where, when reviewed, a Duke player clearly had touched the ball after Wisconsin, yet they still ruled in Duke's favor.

Bad calls or not, both teams had great seasons and I am still so pleased to have seen Wisconsin make it so far in the tournament. 2nd place? I'll take it!
