The family-sized boxes include healthy selections of protein, produce and dairy items that will be distributed at 11 a.m. each Friday at Credit Island until supplies run out.

Anyone in need is welcome, and there is no pre-approval or verification required. If you want to get the food boxes, enter Credit Island off River Drive and follow the signs.

The Farmers to Families Food Box program was announced in 2020 by the USDA as part of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program. So far the organization had distributed over 20,000 boxes of food, free-of-charge, to thousands of local families suffering the economic fall-out of the COVID-19 pandemic and in need of supplemental food assistance.
