Get Free Flu Shots in Rock Island This Wednesday

The CDC is recommending everyone get a flu shot this year to help stay healthy and free up hospitals during the pandemic.

Unfortunately, because of pandemic restrictions Flu-Free Quad Cities hasn't been able to go into some schools to offer the free shots, so here's where parents and their kids can get free flu shots in the Quad Cities.

On Wednesday, November 11, from 2pm- 5pm parents and their kids can get a free flu shot at the Watchtower parking lot on 9th Street in Rock Island. Adults need to go with their kids, but everyone is welcome as long as supplies last. Genesis Health System and Community Health Care of the QC team up each year (this is the 14th year) to offer the free flu shot clinic.

It's a drive thru event so you won't even have to get out of the car and COVID-19 precautions will be taken.
