Haunted Encounters: Share Yours with The Hawk

I will never forget my first creepy experience at this former mortuary I work at.

Last summer, I was in the building working late. I was the only one here and generally don't get creeped out by being here. I finished up my work and went to the bathroom before I gathered my things to leave. As I was coming out of the bathroom, I heard a distinct and clear sound. The office chair around the corner had moved!

You know that sound of getting up from an office chair? The sound of the wheels, the creeks of the pump that makes the chair go up and down with ease? I knew it was right around the corner from me.

"Hello? Who's here?" I automatically blurted out. Silence. Staggering silence. So silent, I couldn't easily dismiss it. I knew I had  just been added to the long list of DJs who had stories and personal experiences in this place. Little did I know, that wouldn't be my last.
