Have You Broken These Iowa Laws?

Some laws are meant to be broken and it's likely, you have already.

Whether these laws are outdated, just plain forgotten about by legislators or actually expected for citizens to follow, you may want to check and see which ones you have broken.

Seriously, these are some of the dumbest laws I have ever seen!

I don't know about you, but kisses that last longer than five minutes are always the best kisses! What's up with that one? You have to wonder.

In Bettendorf, did you know that 'Liquor stores may not place advertisements for beer outside the store?'

Travel to Cedar Rapids and I bet you didn't know that it is 'illegal to read a person's palms in the city limits.'

In Fort Madison, time is of the essence in a fire, but  'The fire department is required to practice fire fighting for fifteen minutes before attending a fire.'

By now, you may be shaking your head as I am, but these are all true, as 'dumb' as they may be!
