A fourteen year old United Township High School student had his bicycle stolen at the McDonald's in East Moline last Friday October 19.

Witnesses have reported occasionally seeing the bicycle after school or in the early evening hours near the Burger King, Dearfield Woods and Crown Forrest apartments in East Moline since it was reported stolen.

The bicycle is a green DX legend BMX bicycle with black rims. The seat is black with a tear in it. The bike has a value of $700.

When you can't drive and your bike is how you get around, being without can be tough. It sounds to me like the person who stole the bike might be another student, or someone who doesn't have a car. I want to help this kid get his bike back so if you know anything ... drop a dime... talk to Crime Stoppers.

Call Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500 or submit a tip here via crimeinfo.net. You can tip anonymously and Crime Stoppers pays rewards up to $1000! You may also anonymously report a tip using the United Township High School P3 campus app.
