The University of Iowa has 'paused' ticket sales for the 2020 football season. According to the university's Hawkeye Sports website, only renewed season ticket holders and and 'completed per-seat contributions by June 30' are included in this season's seating plans.

The announcement says anyone else wanting to buy tickets will have to wait until it's more clear how seating in the stadium will work.

Hawkeye fans are excited for the upcoming season and we appreciate their continued enthusiasm and support,” said Henry B. and Patricia B. Tippie Director of Athletics Chair Gary Barta. “With the current information available, we need to pause additional sales and focus on reduced-capacity seating models based on our season ticket holders. We anticipate finalizing this by late July and will share with our fans.

Here's another blow. The Hawkeye Express, the train that transports fans from Coralville to Kinnick Stadium will not operate this season. If you bought tickets for the train you will be able to get a refund or a credit toward other parking options.
